- Our Head Office is based in Nottingham - where it was founded, with regional offices in Stockport, Grimsby and Strathaven in Scotland.
- We have 18 members of staff and numerous volunteers across each region
- When You Wish Upon A Star are proud to have granted over 15,000 Wishes to date
- There are 20,000 children living in the UK with a life-threatening illness (Source: Association of Children's Hospices)
- When You Wish Upon A Star are a non-government funded charity and therefore every penny counts that's raised
- When You Wish Upon A Star believes that as the whole family is impacted by a child's illness and the whole family should be involved in the Wish
- Many celebrities who have fulfilled and supported Wishes include; Leona Lewis, David Beckham, Ant & Dec, Sue Cleaver, Lewis Hamilton, JLS, The Wanted, Simon Cowell, Fern Cotton and Jeremy Spake to name but a few!

In Memory of Oliver
The classmates of a boy from Nottinghamshire who died from a brain tumour have been remembering him on what would have been his tenth birthday. Oliver Dees' school was a sea of red, as pupils came to lessons dressed in his favourite colour. It comes as Oliver's father prepares for a gruelling mountain trek in Vietnam. Peter Dees is raising money for a charity which has supported the family
